About

At Baptist Health Richmond, we prioritize accessible behavioral health treatment. Our Behavioral Health Clinic offers individual counseling, medication management for mental health, substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment. We have specialized substance use treatment such as our Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program (CD IOP) to provide support for folks working towards recovery. Clients can expect individualized care from our treatment team of licensed therapists, psychiatric medical providers, certified social workers, peer support specialists and targeted case managers. For crisis support, therapists are available 24/7 for emergency substance abuse evaluations and behavioral health consultations through the Baptist Health Richmond Emergency Department. The Thrive Center at Baptist Health Richmond is an 11-bed adult unit to support acute psychiatric admissions. We are here to support our community and your journey in recovery through many levels of care. No referral for any service necessary. Call the Behavioral Health Clinic at 859-544-8171 to schedule an appointment. If you are in crisis or in an emergency, dial 988, 911 or present to the closest Emergency Department.
